Former FBI agent, Scott Bowman, was charged with stealing more than $100,000 in drug proceeds and spending it on luxury vehicles, a vacation in Las Vegas, and a $15,000 cosmetic surgery for his wife.
He has been indicted on Federal Charges.
Authorities report that Bowman, 44, misappropriated money that had been sized during their search warrants; he also allegedly falsified FBI reports to cover up his theft.
Bowman was indicted in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on three counts of conversion of property by a federal employee, three counts of obstruction of justice, two counts of money laundering, one count of falsification of records and one count of witness tampering.
